Teen Night Code of Conduct
We cannot make exceptions to any of these listed rules. The rules are designed for our young visitors comfort and safety. Thank you for your co-operation.
Parents, you are in the best position to know your teenagers and the degree of responsibility they are able to handle. While staff is in attendance to ensure compliance with the rules and see to the comfort and safety of our young visitors while at the Crewe Dance, it is important that the teeneagers behave in a responsible manner.
There is adult supervision and the area is patrolled frequently by the Crewe Police Department and the Nottoway County Sheriff's Office.
No smoking or alcohol is permitted in the Modern Woodmen hall on Teen Nights. Virginia state law regarding use of tobacco and alcohol by those underage will be strictly adhered to.
When in doubt we test for alcohol and drug consumption using non-intrusive methods. Testing is voluntary, however refusal to take a test will result in ejection from the Crewe Dance. Note: We check for USE not level of intoxication.
Once a person pays an entry fee to enter the Crewe Dance that fee is non-refundable.
Wrist tickets are issued once a person pays an entry fee. The wrist ticket is used soley to veryfy a person has paid their entry fee. It does not grant that person right to re-nter the dance if they leave. Re-entry fee is $2.00 and may require alcohol and drug testing prior to re-entry.
Teens must sign in when they arrive and must sign out when they leave.
No one is allowed to loiter in the parking lot or outside the Modern Woodmen hall. This includes hanging out in vehicles parked at the Modern Woodmen hall.
No outside food or drink is allowed to be brought into the Crewe Dance. Snacks and beverages are available at affordable prices.
No weapons or objects that can be used as weapons are allowed to be brought into the Crewe Dance. These include guns, knives, pepper spray, mace, stun guns, brass knuckles, saps, clubs, sticks, bats, etc. Law enforcement officers are obviously excluded from these rules.
All persons and their belongings are subject to search.
Bags, large purses and pocket books, back packs, etc. are not allowed entry into the Crewe dance and must be left at our coat and bag check area.
The security of personal electronics and other items of value are the responsibility of their respective owners and should not be left unattended.
By attending the Crewe Dance you permit photographing and video recording of your person, or that of your child, while inside the Crewe Dance. You further consent to the use of your photo or video image in advertising.
Please refrain from any PDA (public display of affection) which includes sexually implicit dancing, prolonged kissing, groping and lap sitting.
Please act in accordance with the above guidelines. Failure to do so will result in no further attendance at the Crewe Dance.
